Stephanie and I shared a “theme song” to capture the essence of two spirited women. Our song, Born to Be Wild by Steppenwolf, reminds me of Stephanie’s drive to live life to the fullest. Stephanie’s passion to squeeze every ounce of fun out of life started at the tender age of 4 when Auntie and niece went out for an afternoon of shopping (her love) and ice cream. As we cruised down Park Hill Road on that spring day, Born to Be Wild blared through open windows and sunroof. Little Steph screamed “drive faster Marzy, this is fun!” One part of the song says it all: Like a true nature’s child, We were born, born to be wild, We can climb so high, I never wanna die. Stephanie’s spirit will never die…she will forever be in our hearts. When you hear our theme song, remember Steph and her wish for all of us to live life to the fullest. Much love to all, Marz

I always think of Steph when I hear your “theme song” Marzy!!! I never knew that it had such meaning and I am so glad that others think of her too when they hear it!! She is truly missed! Love to all the family!!!

On one visit to the hospital where i found an obviously very ill young Stephie, I was immediately admonished to “turn that frown upside down”! She let me know in no uncertain terms that she would admit only positive energy into her presence that day.
I complied. Steph in charge! Miss her…
